The Somme offers a rich variety of WWI sites - Wellington Quarry, Thiepval, Musee Somme and the trenches at Beaumont Hamel where students get a feel for trench life. Normandy offers a rich variety of WWII sites - Pegasus Memorial, Arromanches 360, Merville Batterie, Bayeux, American Cemetery not to mention the extensive beaches and Mulberry Harbour.
